Dear Maoz Partner,

You probably know by now that in Hebrew there is only one version of the Bible universally accepted by the Jewish people.

However,  just like with every other people group, the Hebrew language has evolved over thousands of years.

In the Narrated Bible, we will preserve the sacred Scriptures in Hebrew, just as they have been for thousands of years.  But we will provide Modern Hebrew speakers tools to understand what they are reading.

Most Israelis own a Bible.  But most Israelis do not read the Bible at all.

This translation project truly is—first and foremost—for the average Israeli reader—believing and unbelieving alike. It is for the young, the elderly, secular or non-religious—most of whom have never considered opening a Bible after graduating from high school.

Today is the day God is calling His Jewish people back to Him.

We together have the privilege of pointing them to the Way—God’s Way!
