Narrating Hope

Shalom from Jerusalem!

You can see from these stories that many Israelis, whether they live a religious life or a secular life, have a deep sense of honor for the God of Israel and His commitment to them. In both of these stories each person reached out to God with what they knew about Him—that He is good, that He is a Father and that He cares about them. That is a good starting place.

But there’s so much more about God we can learn from His Word. And Israelis generally don’t read their own scriptures because it was written in Ancient Hebrew and therefore, they do not believe they could understand them if they did. Instead, they turn to rabbis and teachers to speak about what the scriptures say.

That is why we spent years translating the Narrated Bible in Chronological Order together with the Israel Bible Society. It combines both the Old and New Testament and tells of God’s journey with man like a story. It also includes a dictionary on every page to explain difficult words.

Israelis now have the ability to read their Bible and understand it. But! We are almost out of our first printing as we have given away most of the Bibles and we need more!

The printers have just been notified that the Bibles have been completed and on their way to us. Each Bible costs us $22 to print and ship to Israel.

Would you like to sponsor a Bible? Also, join us in praying our shipment will not be stopped by the Islamic Houthis that are hijacking ships on their way to Israel.

Thank You for partnering with us and Israel,

Kobi and Shani Ferguson
