I grew up with a friend whose grandparents survived the Holocaust. When they were freed, they had no home to return to. And so, a group of them began the journey from Germany to their ancient homeland.

Among the challenges they faced on the way was the bitter cold of winter. They decided to pair up and marry to keep each other warm. This partnership didn’t just keep their bodies from freezing. The connection with another soul that understood your suffering, served as a healing balm. The group not only survived the journey, they built families in Israel that are already in their third generation.

The road to recovery is a personal and delicate journey. We work with counselors, full of the knowledge and love of the Lord, that are treating children who have experienced trauma, Nova survivors and soldiers who have witnessed the horrors of Islamic terrorism.

It can be hard to look at the aftermath of war and know where to start rebuilding. But reviving the soul, as we point them to the Giver of Life, is a good place to start.

For the price of one coffee a week, we invite you to sponsor one Israeli looking to rebuild his or her life, with a monthly gift of $25.

For three years, Israelis have been trying to pull their soul out of the ashes while still fighting for their right to breathe. Strangely, the more they are attacked by Islamic terrorists, the more the world has sided with the Islamic narrative.

Even Evangelical Christians—once the solid pillar of support for Israel—are growing tired or even indifferent. But this is not what the Lord has asked of us.

In Isaiah 40, the Lord says:

“Comfort, comfort My people,” says your God. “With gentle words, tender and kind, assure Jerusalem, this chosen city from long ago, that her battles are over. The terror, the bloodshed, the horror of My punishing work is done.”

We are commanded to bring healing words to Israel. To stand with her. Pray for her. Help her in any way we can. And we can do this together.
