Ismael Vargas

Ismael “Ish” Vargas joins Maoz with a robust background in higher education and a passion for serving the Hispanic community. As Partner Relations Specialist for Maoz Israel - Español, Ish builds and nurtures donor relationships with Hispanic community partners, ensuring alignment with the ministry’s mission of making believers strong in the Lord.

With over a decade of experience in the for-profit higher education industry, Ish transitioned to Maoz Israel, bringing a wealth of expertise in project management, process optimization, and partner engagement. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management and a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management, both from Western Governors University. His technical proficiency and leadership acumen are instrumental in enhancing the ministry’s partner relations database, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing streamlined procedures to assist new and existing partners while enhancing the ministry’s overall impact.

Ish’s unique blend of technical and interpersonal skills has driven innovative solutions that strengthen ministry partnerships and improves donor engagement. He is committed to creating meaningful connections and collaboration within his role.

Outside of work, Ish enjoys exploring new technologies, volunteering in his church, and spending quality time with his wife, four boys and two dogs.
